Leg Yield Day!
Started with simple warmup in jump field, WTC on straight lines
In leg yield- worked on feeling inside hind in turn, getting straight, and then using half-halts more effectively to create the crossing of the legs. Focus on getting him to step over as much as forward, not over then forward then over then forward.
Went in arena, and worked on zig-zag
K to quarterline/centerline X, to H (and vice-versa)
Used “nearly halts” to get him sharper on half halt. I need to practice riding him more promptly for upwards and downwards (create more upward and downwards within the gaits).
